My, my. Has AI come a long way in its brief existence, or what? It wasn’t too long ago that AI could only answer simple questions as a paperclip or lightbulb or something on the right side of the page. The sentences were simple, as were the answers, and somehow the AI never answered to the fullest like a human. At first the answers of the AI were not good enough.

That was then. Take a small jump to today where AI continues to expand its complexity and range of ways it can answer our questions and give us the solutions we need. I’m not a programmer but I hear AI can write some pretty good code. It writes this code faster than any person can, that means its instantaneous. Yes, that fast. And I hear the quality of the code is pretty good too. How about that? It’s a given that AI can perform tasks faster than a person but now we are entering the realm of doing some tasks better than a person. Think of things like writing papers, doing searches , gathering info on any topic, the most obscure ones too. AI can do that too. We are at that point already.

I’m not saying that AI has reached any kind of learning limit either. It still has growing to do, skills to learn etc. And don’t we all. People, very learned people are saying that AI will eclipse people in terms of abilities, intelligence, planning and everything else that sets the storytellers and military people trembling in their shoes.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. So far, as far as I’ve seen, AI is far more polite than its human counterpart when it comes to bedside manners in health care, customer services when dealing with companies or any other entities online. And in my opinion, that is a huge leap in terms of its assimilation into our society. It got that 100% right.

So pretty soon the average person will have AI apps that help with their everyday lives the way people have smart phones and computers.
