“Dix Pourcent” is a French comedy, drama, TV series produced by Fanny Herrero. It stars Camille Cottin, Thibault de Montalembert, Gregory Montel, Liliane Rovere, Assaad Bouab, Fanny Sidney, Laure Calamy, Nicolas Maury, Stefi Celma and many other great talents. It was released in Quebec in 2016 under the name “Appelez Mon Agent”. I believe it´s on its 3rd season and there are many guest appearances from people like Juliette Binoche, Beatrice Dalle, Cecile de France, Zinedine Soualem, Christophe Lambert and many others. The series is also available on Netflix.

“Dix Pourcent” is the story of a talent agency in Paris named ASK Talent Agency (Agence Samuel Kerr) and the people that work there. Like so many stories of this kind the people who work at ASK are talented with problems that often seem on the verge of laying waste to their lives both at work and private. They deal with the biggest talent in France and the biggest entertainment projects and industries, like Hollywood and so their problems can sometimes be just that big.

This really is a well written and produced TV series with great talent. The characters are likeable, even when they are behaving like boobs and to see them fumble through their problems is actually funny. It´s not negative or too stereotypical in its humor and like I said the characters are likeable.

I highly recommend “Dix Pourcent” as a must watch. It is easily one of the best TV series, comedies to come out of the screen in a long time. Don´t let any language barrier stop you from enjoying this gem because it´s just worth it.
