“Guardians Of The Galaxy” is a successful attempt at a comedic, action film. It´s the story of a team of superheroes who are flawed and in some ways has beens. The story is the theft and chase after an orb that turns out to have immense power because of what`s inside it.

During the adventure we learn more about the team and although they are space criminals of a sort they are likeable and even display courage. I liked the film for its avoidance of the pretentious hero. We are shown a team of heroes warts and all. The story develops nicely and the world building is fantastic. This film was distributed by Disney so it was also crafted for younger audiences, but in this case it works.
