So here we are again for my July editorial and it should be no surprise that I post The U.S. Constitution, as always. I do this because it is such an important document. It is one of our nation´s finest achievements we can be proud of and in these times it is more important than ever. Everybody should read it at least once and have an idea of what it´s about. It should be read like the classics are read and understood but most important of all its ideas should be exercised all the time. Now read up!
Here are some important documents we all should read and understand!
The ”Articles Of Confederation” or ”The Articles Of Confederation And Perpetual Union” was drafted by the Second Continental Congress in 1776 and was an agreement of union of the first 13 states and served as America´s first constitution. The ”U.S. Constitution” was later drafted and put into effect in March 1789 and consists of 7 articles and 27 amendments. The first ten amendments are the ”Bill of Rights”. The United States Constitution is the supreme law of the United States of America.
