Latest Movie Releases 2014 (part 2)

There are many good films worth watching in all genres and varying budgets in 2014. We can say that talent has been very busy this year with well-known actors, directors and musicians hard at work churning out films that will be considered classics decades from now. Three films caught my attention this month. All are different genres and budgets. Big names in these films include Antonio Banderas, Ben Affleck and Julianne Moore. One is a mystery, another is sci-fi and another is a drama. All have good development.

The first film has already been called a classic and is said to be Ben Affleck´s best performance yet. It´s a story about the price people pay for living a lie. We get a good look at two people without their masks. The name of this masterpiece is “Gone Girl”.

The second film is a well-made science fiction film that deals with robotic sentience and humanity´s dependence on them. It has action, a good story and Antonio Banderas need I say more. The name of this film is “Automata”.

The last film this month is called “Map To The Stars” and stars the very talented Julianne Moore. It has the viewer wondering how many of Hollywood´s big names are broken and unraveling like these characters are. It´s disturbing and shocking. It´s a good watch.

Three films released in Oct. 2014 worth watching are “Gone Girl”,   “Automata” and “Map To The Stars”. See these in the theaters or even as rentals. They´re worth it.
