Movie Releases 2014 Part 3
I2Q Editorial

It´s the last month of 2014 and the good movies just keep coming. With the choice we´re seeing these past few months the theaters should be very busy places right about now. I mean good movies in all genres too such as independent, sci-fi, fantasy, dramas, comedies and mysteries with varying budgets from different countries and across many cultures. Unlike books that always have a good year some years are not so good for movies. 2014 is not one of those years. Suffice it to say, there have been many good movie releases this year. Here are some of those creations.

I know that I don´t focus enough on independent films or comedies so I need to make that a New Year´s resolution. However, the movies I do mention really are worth seeing because they´re entertaining, they make you think and wonder and they are very relevant to issues in our society. Some films describe an aspect of the social engineering that is taking place around us. Whether it´s coaxing us to smoke cigarettes, buy cars or accept a certain view on life and society. What we create and consume has a huge influence on us. So the people with interesting stories to tell who see the things we don´t notice really do deserve the title of “artist” or “storyteller”.

Two strange and creepy films that caught my attention this month are “Predestination” and “Nightcrawlerand one movie that I consider a must-see masterpiece is “Interstellar” . These films will shock, offend and have you thinking. They´re also very entertaining so enjoy.
