The U.S. Constitution

The ”Articles Of Confederation” or ”The Articles Of Confederation And Perpetual Union” was drafted by the Second Continental Congress in 1776 and was an agreement of union of the first 13 states and served as America´s first constitution. The ”U.S. Constitution” was later drafted and put into effect in March 1789 and consists of 7 articles and 27 amendments. The first ten amendments are the ”Bill of Rights”. The United States Constitution is the supreme law of the United States of America.
